The Training Zone
Thames hold 2 hour sessions every Thursday from 18.30 to 20.30 at the Next Generation Gym, 5 Larch Close, Kembrey Park, Swindon, SN2 8YS.
We offer a varied and fun range of activities designed to improve general fitness and stamina whilst practising basic netball skills, then finishing with a game to put all the practised elements into a match situation.
Vikki Castle is a level 2 qualified coach and designs each training session to match both club and individual needs (if necessary), her assistant Lorraine Fernyhough is a qualified UKCC Level 1 Assistant Coach, as are the A and C Team Managers, Sheryal Wernham and Trish Williams
Thames currently has 2 qualified umpires with 3 more players waiting to take their assessments during the 2011/12 season.
